"They Meet"

My weird little painting (acrylic, 4X6 inches) for a group Valentine's day art show at Boomerang Gallery located at: HeebeJeebe 46 Kentucky Street, Petaluma, CA. The show, called First Love, opens on the 8th of February and hangs until the 27th.

I don't know how, but I KNOW it everytime you post a new post. I just thought "Hey, Steve musta' posted a new post!" and sure enough!

Love the painting dude. It's kinda offbeat and cool. Wouldn't mind it on my wall at all.

Oh! So romantical!

I'm thrilled I finally found your blog. We moved again, though the email is still the same. If you get to WonderCon this year, look for Tom. It's his turn to go this year.

I heard a rumor that Surfin' the Highway was being reprinted...! Can it really be true? (swoons with anticipation)

What a sweet painting, just like the little kids in the doggy car. When I first saw this pic I thought:"Hmmm... doesn't look like a pirate picture at all." But soon there's love in the air again so it came up right in time.
Just one little question: How long do you need for a painting with this size?

Lois B-
Surfin' the Highway is indeed being reprinted. It's available for preorder at telltalegames.com.

Hi lois b! --

Don't worry, I'll get you your copies. Telltale is doing a paperback and a hardback signed version. I still have your email address. And I'll look for Tom at WonderCon. Talk to you soon.

Then they breed a duck-monkey. We need more of those.

Love the blaze.

By the way I think it'd be easier if you let everyone post.

So the re-prints are finally soaring off the presses and are on their way to their respective owners. Feels like everything is starting back off where I wished it never ended. It’s been a long time, so let's keep our fingers crossed this highway goes on for even longer. KEEP RUNNING!

Thanks, starchie!

I'll be delighted to get copies. But I'm even more delighted that it's back in print again and finding a whole new audience. How cool is that?

And, BTW, I'm just loving your paintings!

STEVE! What a nice surprise. Man, I was poring over your AGE OF S&M sketchbook recently. Its still in my bathroom. I enjoy looking at it immensely, though not in THAT way. I got it at the 2006 COMIC-CON, where I was awesomely stoked to have met you. I came all the way from South Africa when I heard you were there! Anyway, well worth it. Heard you have another sketchbook out. Super super awesome. Really dig your solid forms and symmetrical way of drawing objects.

Fries my brain when I try to imagine how you achieved it.
