Autumn

An older Ernie and Suda painting. It's somewhat unfinished but over time I realized I wasn't going to work on it anymore and am actually pretty satisfied with the shaggy edges. I need to remind myself to paint shaggier.
Acrylic on Canvas 9X12

Nice palette. This one is great! Yes, big fan of the shag. More shaginess.

That is awesome, I love these characters... I read in another post that you said there are 2 stories you made with them. Are both of these stories in the Fast Forward #3? Cuz I've been searching the internets and I can't find a Toybox comic alone so I don't know what to search for to find the 2nd(or 1st) comic.

I'll post the other story when it's closer to Christmas. It was in the Hellboy Christmas Special.

I love this one. Shaggy is definitely good. But poor Ernie looks so cold...!

J.C Leyendecker reminded you of my work?! YIKES! -- and thanks! I've seen his originals. I love that you can see the pencil lines through the paint and that the paint strokes are so thick and buttery. It's exciting to see HOW he made the painting. He's definitely inspiring.
