I can't express just how much I enjoy the sheer cleverness of this. I grew up playing Monkey Island games and when you post stuff like this, it warms the cockles of my heart.
Also, your skeletons have a lot of character and individuality!
you could be one of my first fauvourist artist since I was a child. Every time I visit this blog its exciting for me as professional and exciting for my little inner child. Amazing, sir, really love all your work.
I wonder, how long would something like the monkey-behemoth painting take you to paint, including the initial sketch etc? Seems like a lot of this paint is pretty opaque. Acrylics?
C-- I don't have these pencil drawings, they're from copies. I have thought of creating some new pirate drawings and paintings to see if anyone would be interested.
Vujovic-- These story paintings were done fairly quickly for me. About four hours each on average.
there's a slime mold that lives part of its live as single celled discrete individuals and then at the end of it's live acts like a multicellular singular entity. It goes from being a colony to making 1 plant that gives off one seed.

You made my day.
Are these designs part of the tales of Monkey Island? I'm afraid they are not.

They are not. But don't be afraid.
But I am afraid. In fact I'm rather terrified!

Aw, I honestly thought this was concept art for Rise of the Pirate God.
It just seemed like this would be the type of thing that would happen.

Reminds me of a certain giant monkey robot...
A giant monkey made from hundreds of monkeys chasing undead pirates?!?

You come down from that tree right now! You hear me?
As your former editor, this is not a request.

reminds me of that
I meant lives part of its "life"
and life again.
Often when I mean to type "write: I type "writhe" instead, telling?
