A God in the World He Once Knew

Submission for the annual I AM 8-Bit show a couple of installments ago. The paintings are inspired by classic videogame imagery and Chronicle has published a book from the first year of the show. A weird style for me with chunky acrylic strokes on black board, and some white colored pencil as well. The show returns this August so I'll be pulling something together for it soon.

That's awesome Steve. Are you in any Bay Area shows anytime....or anytime soon?

I believe the next two are in LA but there's another that may be turning up in the Bay Area soon. I'll post information as soon as it's available. Thanks for asking.

Oh, that's pretty cool. Been trying to nail your art-style for a while but I always end-up being too wonky. I'll show you some Sudas later, I guess.

Well thats definitely a new one for me. Nice to see you posting some different styles, especially when it turns out as wonderfully as this one did.

Looks almost like pastel! I like the girl, she looks awfully upset... which is understandable if you hang out with a gorilla all the time.

Working up from black is brave... turned out great!

Surfing the Highway hardcovers are finally shipping! I can't wait since I also ordered a copy of The Effigy Mound, way back in November if i recall, but it was worth the wait.

Could I use "A God in a World he Once Knew" in a short write-up about classic video games? Here's what it would look like: www.logicmazes.com/PREVIEW.html That's just a preview; nothing points to it yet. If this is okay with you, would you want me to link to anything in addition to Spudvision?
