Toybox - Page 1

This story was was painted long ago for a DC comics anthology called Fast Forward. The mandate for the stories was "Do whatever you want." I had this handful of characters rattling around in my head for a while and tried cobbling together a world for them to inhabit. Posting the first page today, then two pages a day until Halloween.

Great, I wish there were more comics like this...

Man, Toybox is like what all your thoughts looked like after they've been set on fire and melted together. Then you drew them. (That was meant to be a compliment...)

Seriously, it's very interesting to me because it seems like you had a lot of fun doing it, and because of that, the drawing is very reckless, yet complete.

Yay indeed!

Puddy's bones are still mentioned around here from time to time when surprising things transpire.

I have a few friends for whom the rejoinder, "I won't miss him," is a common saying. This is one of the best comics ever!
