I thought it might be worth creating a blog strictly for Sam & Max while Spudvision can remain a catch-all for any other kinds of art, especially Toybox which is the home of your very own host Starchie Spudnoggen.
I'm working on the format for the Sam & Max blog and will post a link here as soon as it launches.

On a side note, is there going to be a new Sam and Max sketchbook from you at SDCC this year?
Really cool! Look forward to it. I agree with Andrew about the updates here :)
All the best!
I'm really looking forward to this blog! Sam and Max rock!
Cool! My heroes will finally have their own blog!!
This has really made my day. I simply cannot wait! :)
Great! Thank you!
Squeeeeee! That means there will be two blogs with your wonderful art! YAAAY!
Yes! Give us all the Sams and Maxes!
Awesome news!! I missed them so much. Especially Max, the freakiest rabbit in the world (after Bugs Bunny)! ;)
I gotta say I'm impressed. I remember the old days where there wasn't much of a Purcell online presence. It was us fans, congregating on forums and building fan sites. We scoured the internet and emailed the hell outta Steve to get any tidbit of info.
Now we got Purcell on top of his blog game and feeding us new stuff on the regular.
Keep it up Steve, I'm enjoying the hell out of this.
WOOOHOOO!
Hi Steve,
I don't have your email address but I wanted to show you an image I made inspired by your Monkey Island 2 cover. I drew it up for an online tutorial, you can see it here:

I'm a huge fan of your artwork and I'd love it if you took a minute to view it. Thanks very much,
David

I can hardly contain myself!
MOST EXCITING!
OOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUU!!
I still miss the animation and the comics. I wish for the oldens days where soda drinks act as explosive acid bombs or crazy villians trying to be the top maket sellers in their twisted ways or beatig up a gunball machine that doesn't have any good gumball, just plastic lead balls.
if you love monkey island youll love this

Sean Lane--
No new sketchbook this year. But there's a weird new T-shirt at telltale.
David Cousens--
Nice tutorial. Thanks for posting.

I've seen that Monkey Island piece. It's amazing!
Santi--
No online store yet. Probably something I should think about.
Thanks Steve, I'm really glad you liked it as your art is a huge inspiration to me. That's actually made my day :)
If you post it, they will come.
So will you be at the Telltale booth (Booth 5337) then? Telltale hasn't posted an SDCC announcement yet that I can tell.

THANK YOU SO MUCH
I would love to see a Sam & Max blog SOON.
Also- are you making any new Sam & Max art books? I can't get my hands on the old ones unless I want to pay an arm and a leg.
I don't want to miss the next one you do! -whenever that is. I hope it's going to be sold online too, since I live in Australia and wont be able to get one at a convention.
